After achieving success with the Adlerhof and 2 other restaurants in Vienna, Manuel Köpf and Andreas Knünz are venturing into a new gastronomic concept by the shores of Lake Thalersee. Set within the stunning building designed by Pittino & Ortner, with its inviting stepped terraces, the duo is embracing this fresh location in a different federal state. Staying true to the winning formulate once again collaborated with Gerd Zehetner form Archiguards, to bring the new Waldcafe to life. Merging the essence of the place and our distinctive design language, we crafted a seamless blend of storytelling and aesthetics. While archiguards focused on the interior design and furnishings, we took charge of the branding and creating the captivating "look & feel" of the space. Graz-native artist Anna Riess provided a larger than life opil painting as a focal point to our interior that embellishes the main lounge.
